THEY SAY IF IT'S too good to be true, it probably is. At one time or another, we all dream of making the big hit: winning the lottery, buying a penny stock and watching it run to $100, being left a large inheritance (unfortunately, at the loss of a loved one). The fact is though, its true- there is no free lunch. Hitting the big one is great for an afternoon daydream, but the fact is the odds are more your favor of losing than winning. Never bet more than you are willing to lose, and always remember, you have nobody to blame but yourself once you lose it all. If you go to Vegas, you may hope to win but secretly, you know what the outcome usually is going to be. So, to keep it simple, always remember the odds: not usually in your favor, and exponentially high. If you are expecting to make your fortune by hitting it big against the odds, chances are you are going to die a very poor person.
